The Gastein golf course is about 7 minutes away by car and is one of the most traditional golf courses in Austria.
Pleasure golf is the order of the day in the wonderful Gastein mountain scenery: Holes 1 to 9 offer spacious holes and large, sometimes more undulating greens. The par 5s (holes 3, 7 and 8) in particular are a real challenge. Holes 10 to 18 are rather short, but they have smaller greens and narrower fairways, which requires precise play.
Other beautiful golf courses are about 30-60 minutes away by car (Goldegg, Zell am See, Radstadt) Golf season in Gastein is from the beginning of May to the end of October depending on the weather. The flat rate is tied to these golf course opening times.
