A breakfast buffet fit for a king, board with afternoon snack from 12:00-4:00 pm (in winter) and 12:00-3:00 pm (in summer), gourmet menus every day that will make any gourmand happy. Enjoy specialities nights with different starter and dessert buffets.
Every Wednesday is our hotel party with gala dinner and sparkling wine reception – we look forward to seeing you in your most elegant attire on Wednesday evenings!

Get amazing views of the Gastein mountains in the afternoon with coffee and cake or in the evening with a glass of fine wine, a tasty cocktail or a homemade punch. The sunny panorama terrace outside the hotel bar is probably the most beautiful hotel terrace in the entire Gastein Valley... and depending on the weather, we open it as early as March!

Despite having three hotels, we have consciously decided to have only 132 beds. We want our guests to have room – lots of room. Because you can really only relax and do what you enjoy doing on your holiday when you have space. Perfect for family holidays with children and discerning guests who expect a little more of everything...

An idyllic 7,000 m² garden

Our sprawling garden invites you to stroll and relax in summer. The large sunbathing lawn next to our two outdoor thermal pools has enough room to make yourself comfortable. We have plenty of lounge chairs and sun umbrellas, or enjoy the shade of one of the trees in the garden.

The best accommodation for an unforgettable winter holiday in Gastein

The Hotel Bismarck is the best home base for active holidays in Gastein’s ski resorts with 200 km of slopes featuring various levels of difficulty. Reach the new Schlossalmbahn cable car via the park in just a 10-minute walk, or take the free ski shuttle. The ski shuttle runs on a 10-minute schedule and will fetch you right outside the entrance to our ski storage cellar. From the hotel, you can also easily access more than 90 km of cross-county ski trails that wind through the Gastein Valley. Athletic night owls can enjoy the illuminated night trail near the hotel, open until 10:00 pm.
