Ski-area-hopping in the Gastein Valley

The only thing you need to ponder in Gastein is one simple question: which of the four ski areas should I tackle today?

Blue skies, snow-covered hillsides, and perfectly-groomed and snow-sure slopes. To cap it all off - a network of skiing pistes that knows no equal. Whether you are a beginner or an expert, looking for a relaxing family run or a speedy downhill descent - the Gastein ski area offers skiers and snowboarders all that their hearts desire.

Skiing & Snowboarding over 4 Ski Areas

On a total of 200km of slopes that go up as high as 2,700m above sea level, both beginners and pros, skiers and snowboarders, carvers and racers will all feel right in their element. There are 60km of easy runs, 117km of intermediate runs and 24km of difficult slopes, ranging from family-friendly descents to wide slopes for carving, and from deep powder tracts to mogul-covered slopes. All these are waiting to be conquered.

Enjoy perfectly-groomed slopes and varying descents! The optimum altitude and powerful snowmaking facilities mean snow is guaranteed from late November to late April.

Take Time out for Stops at Rustic Ski Huts
